It Sounds Fun is a private English academy located in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Spain. We are looking for great candidates for a 9.5 month teaching internship. You will learn how to become a fantastic EFL teacher, working with children of all ages. You'll receive full training, support and development during your time with us in this teacher in training position.
Ootused
By the end of the internships you will be able to manage your classroom, and impart the topic in a dynamic and interesting way. You'll have in depth knowledge of Cambridge English exams, and how to teach them. You will also have learnt how to write reports and give feedback about a student's progress.
Ülesanded
You will:
Teach group classes with children from 3-18 years of age, with a maximum of 12 students per class.
Help with course and class planning outside the classroom.
Create and produce classroom resources such as flashcards and posters, and decorate your classroom.
Contribute to the overall assessment of the students by giving feedback and writing reports.
Observe classes to gain knowledge of classroom management and discipline.
Learn and practice how to give classes in a fun and dynamic way, which keeps the students engaged and participating.
Improve your knowledge of English (our working language is English), and how to teach different skills to help students reach their goals in speaking, writing, reading and listening.
Learn about Cambridge English exams and techniques to help students pass their exams.
Learn about games, activities and pairwork to keep your class having fun and learning at the same time.
Learn about Jolly Phonics.
